Chocolate Chip Cookies
Sweet, rich and yummy cookies, in Old school Tool House Inn style cookies aka flat and light.

Ingredients
- •175g Soft Butter (not melted!)
- •210g Sugar (half white half soft brown)
- •1/4 tsp Salt
- •1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- •3 Eggs
- •1 tsp Baking Powder
- •225g All Purpose Flour
- •50g Chopped Pecan Nuts (optional)
- •150g Chocolate Chips
Instructions
Pre-heat the oven at 200°C
With a spatula mix the soft butter, sugar, vanilla extract and salt into a smooth cream
Add the eggs and mix
Add the flour and baking powder little by little, the dough will get thicker yet smooth
Add the chopped pecan nuts and chocolate chips, mix until even
Lower the oven to 180°C, on a baking tray put cooking paper, with 2 spoons make rough balls away from each others, bake in middle position for 10-12 minutes. Cookies should turn a bit brown
Cool down on a grid of flat surface for 5-10 minutes before eating or moving them
💡 Nico's Tip
They are amazing when still warm, but try to put a couple in your fridge to eat them with the chocolate getting a bit crunchy again
